Renting an apartment or a house for an extended period of time - What are the going rates for given areas? How many bedrooms, bathrooms? Secure parking?

There was a villa near Somnang 12 market with large courtyard, carage and 5 bedrooms for $450 this August. 15 - 20 min bike ride to the palace. (Bicycle, that is - a little less if you ride a motorbike.

In Siem Reap I am paying $230/month for a 2 bedroom house fully furnished (when I say fully furnished, all I had to but was food and toothpicks) it has everything ,from a teaspoon to a washing machine. The bathroom has a western style glass shower cubicle, also a bath with hot water of coarse.Bedrooms have a/c and king size beds.with linen supplied.Large fridge, microwave, benchtop 2 burner stove, etc, etc.Only drawback is that it is way out of town, near Angor Wat.

Well, at the moment I pay $100 for a two bedroom, fully furnished apartment, sheets and pillows for the king size bed included, with a 10 m balcony. Water is $5 so that leaves electricity... Granted, it only has an air con in the bedroom because of the traditional way of having a large hole near the ceiling for ventilation but with the front and balcony doors open there is always enough draft to make it comfortable, even during hot season. The landlady brings me occasionally some fruit and any problem with the flat gets sorted really quickly.

I hate the idea of leaving but with all my junk and more to come later... :-(

Sure, but where is it? Location is kind of important.

Looking for up to 6 month accommodation rent (townhouse,
small house, flat, etc) in Sihanoukville from 13 Oct 2014.
We are a pair with a baby.
Ideally it should:

- have the place (garden?) for baby to walk/play
- have 1-2 rooms
- have stable electricity/internet connection
- have cooking facilities & fridge
- have office-like desk for working
