Does Cambodia have an "official language"?
I ask because legal documents can be signed in English, and the provinces may have different local languages spoken more than Khmer. So, is there an "official language", and what does that exactly mean here? For instance, the U.S. has no official language, which means that nothing is actually required to be English, and the government must accommodate non-English speakers.
"Official language"?

All official documents I have seen from government ministries have been exclusively in Khmer. This includes any submissions to them - must be in Khmer.
The exception being those from Ministry of Foreign Affairs often these are in Khmer and English.
