Who knows their beer?
Not sure which variety it was but the Kingdom draught at the Britcham cricket event yesterday was excellent.

So I finally went to the source and emailed Kingdom brewery directly asking where I could buy a case of Indochine White. They said I could come directly to the brewery, or they could deliver within Phnom Penh. He then offered a free tour and free draft beers if I came to brewery. As it turns out, you can come for a free tour and free beers any day of the week from 1-5.
So I went there after lunch today. I was directed to the taproom and offered a tasting of four beers (from right to left):
Pilsner
IPA
White
Stout
And then I grabbed this for the tour:
It was a perfect tour - lasted about 10 minutes, then back to the bar.
I then left with a case of Indochine bottles: $34
Looking forward to going through these and requiring another visit

Edit: where is the brewery, I admit I am too lazy to google it right now.

The last time I went for this the place was pitch black and shut up. At the time I couldn’t find any online source confirming that it was still happening - it’s a bit of a journey to make with the chance that it might not be happening.Miguelito wrote:Yup, first Friday of the month. Also any time I have went, I think they only had pilsner and dark beer on free flow. Anything else, including cider, requires payment.
