The guilt usually subsides after about 30 seconds i find.samesamesamebutsame wrote:Fuck the evil franchises, spreading like a cancerous disease, destroying my little haven of independent revolutionary anti-corporate living.
Cheers!
It's more practical to just fight the revolution on the internet these days imo.

Ask them what their salary is and you will know why.

Personally, I find hamburgers quite horrible along with pizza n hotdogs. The best burger I had in PP was at Open Wine, never had a good dog even in the states and pizza is always disappointing everywhere as it is not a meal but a snack and if you eat a whole one you are a fat fucker, joking,
MacDonalds when they open in my area of N London back in the early seventies stood out for one reason only chocolate milkshakes. We would go to the chippy for our chips, Whimpy for our burgers and Macs for the shakes.

They call it a 'big mac' but it's tiny, especially when compared to a double whopper with cheese.

Advertising. Not sure how Mac lasted so long, it doesn't say much for US public taste...or other nations either, tbf.newnewnewbie wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2019 7:16 amThey call it a 'big mac' but it's tiny, especially when compared to a double whopper with cheese.
Probably the worst burger I've ever had, and that includes cheap Cambodian ones.

I decided 20 years ago that Mickey D's is crap, haven't set foot in one since. Not because I am against globalization or out of principle, just think the food is mediocre.
Not sure they will do well in Cambodia; they certainly aren't in Vietnam; none of the fast food chains do well there.
