A couple of years ago, Jay told me they were cooking the delivery pizzas at a new central kitchen. Seems the heavy delivery volume was overwhelming the restaurant's ovens.

. IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT
Brooklyn Pizza & Bistro would like to inform you about important changes pertaining to our business ownership and operations. Brooklyn Pizza & Bistro Restaurant, and its delivery operations, Brooklyn Pizza Central Delivery, will now be split into two separate and distinct businesses, under separate ownership.
Simon Elliott is now the sole owner of Brooklyn Pizza & Bistro Restaurant and Jay Miller is the sole owner of Brooklyn Pizza Central Delivery, the delivery operation. The two businesses, separately owned enterprises, will trade under the common Brooklyn Pizza name.
As a result of the business separation, there will now be two distinct Facebook Pages, one for the restaurant businesses in Tuol Tumpoung, Brooklyn Pizza & Bistro, being this page, and one for the delivery business. Phone numbers for the restaurant and delivery remain unchanged,
Thank you all for your continued support.
Simon

A Canuck food chain started by Greek selling Boston Pizza? It all makes sense.....Miguelito wrote:Ha! I have never tried a coffee liqueur tequila. How bizarre. Could I make my own with Khalua and tequila?ricecakes wrote:Had a quick beer at Alchemy with PSD last week. We left after two rounds of overpriced swill. They may need to drop their prices a tad for longevity sake or has the demographic in Russian market changed radically ?. We also hit long after dark where those cheeky bastards are charging $8 for a single shot of Patron coffee liqueur tequila. I bought a bottle duty free at Ponchentong for $32. I appreciate bars are a business however that's taking the piss . Fit out there is outstanding though.

Those weird pineapple toppings on Hawaiian pizza were also a Canadian invention. LolHanno wrote:A Canuck food chain started by Greek selling Boston Pizza? It all makes sense.....Miguelito wrote:Ha! Seriously, I didn't think anybody bought duty free at Pochetong, probably the most expensive airport DF in the world !violet wrote:ricecakes wrote:Had a quick beer at Alchemy with PSD last week. I have read some reviews in the paper and online about Dos Besos. Is this Brooklyn Jay Millers place? None of the things I have read mention his name, but Brooklyn has a post saying that he owns Dos Besos and the Delivery business (but not the restaurant - weird?). Strange that he would not have his name with his own business.. at Brooklyn and Alchemy he told every bloke with ears that he was the owner, cook and founder. Does anyone know the truth?
The Mrs. has a funny hangup about not wanting to frequent a sex offender's business. I just want some nachos.

Most of her tuk tuk drivers are probably sex offenders too, just not convicted.
He's involved in Dos Besos. Good food, well priced. Leave your missus at home and go eat some nachos.
Along with some share of Alchemy - not sure what % - he also owns the Brooklyn delivery business, which is now a completely separate operation to the Brooklyn restaurant, and operates from a different kitchen, as the numerous posts by the other Brooklyn guy keeps posting on Facebook groups.
Jay was posting from his personal FB account on several groups announcing his new restaurant Dos Besos, so he's not hiding the fact that he is the owner/partner/whatever.AlecQ wrote:I have read some reviews in the paper and online about Dos Besos. He's selling up a three deck bakers oven , display cabinets, commercial fridges , wine fridges and his warehouse with a coolroom is also for lease for $2000 month if anyone wants to set themselves up in the pizza business.
That's as retarded as saying most of the barangs in Cambodia are probably sex offenders too, just not convicted..epidemiks wrote: Most of her tuk tuk drivers are probably sex offenders too, just not convicted.
