^ Maybe Jay's the new K440 owner?
My posts are just jokes, maybe they're rude, offensive, and politically incorrect. They're not my opinion, viewpoint, idea, or judgement, but they're just fucking jokes so lighten up.

So Brooklyn's New York City style pizza is not as good as the pizza from New York City. Kinda like saying that the Statue of Liberty in Phnom Penh isn't as good as the one in New York City. Why not compare Brooklyn Pizza to Pizza Company fare?

His little Mexican place I'm hearing is pretty good grub.

True, I had a decent eat there the other week. Say what you will about the man, he cooks good food and I find him a affable host.
Massive stalker
Agreed. Dos Besos is excellent. Super tasty Mexican food, nice environment and a great drinks menu. There's even low carbs options if you ask them.
Aussie gourmet bakery started the new year in the same vein. Wasn't there a thread recently claiming Brooklyn owner Simon obtained a stake in the business, much to the surprise of the Aussie owner?

Not sure whether it’s meant to be funny, or a dig at Jay, pretty poor taste imo.
I didn't notice the meaning at first, but the ad really makes no sense except to say "Get your takeaway pizza from the ORIGINAL Brooklyn Pizza, because if you get your pizza elsewhere (like from the 'other' Brooklyn Pizza delivery outfit), you may be subjected to unwanted sexual advances."
It does seem to be an attack on the former Brooklyn business partner, which would probably violate the spirit of whatever agreement the partners had when they split up about one guy keeping the restaurant and the other guy keeping the delivery business.
That was a strange deal though, where they went their separate ways but each still kept selling the same food items under the Brooklyn name. It was bound to have problems.

Still some unanswered questions in that thread.

Maybe reading too much into it?
Perhaps it’s just a crappy advertising theme by someone trying to be cool.
I saw it and just thought it was lame.

Yes, if you don't know the back story it would just seem like a lame ad.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote:Maybe reading too much into it?

But if you know the back story that Brooklyn Pizza had two owners, that the remaining owner sells take away pizzas at the original Brooklyn Pizza location, while the other former owner now does delivery Brooklyn pizzas from a second shop, and they parted on not good terms, and the delivery guy has a conviction record from when he was 19 and reportedly forced himself on a girl, then it becomes clear that this is not just a lame ad or a weird ad or nonsensical ad.
It's an ad by the Brooklyn pizza restaurant touting their "original" takeaway pizzas that makes direct reference to the criminal history of the guy who does the other Brooklyn pizza deliveries. Which seems like a dumb marketing strategy to remind people at all of the association between Brooklyn Pizza and child sex offense, because some people may not understand the different ownerships of Brooklyn takeaway v. Brooklyn delivery and they might just avoid both places.
It would be like a Subway franchisee running ads saying "Visit our franchised location, not the corporate owned Subway shops, because Jared is a pedophile." Really, really dumb marketing plan there.

I know all that... and don’t see it as clearly as you do.
Maybe you are right - or maybe it’s just a lame, clumsy ad.
