Am familiar with the name and could tell you which movie series it came from but couldn’t pick it out of a line up.
Geeks, the lot of you.

Notice the outrigger-style, side-mounted cockpit with transparisteel viewports.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote: Am familiar with the name and could tell you which movie series it came from but couldn’t pick it out of a line up.

I look forward to this one. Not many movies get me out to the big screen anymore, since all the theaters near me divided the once larger rooms into multiple smaller rooms, thus putting most seats way too close to the screen to be enjoyable.
I did see Dunkirk the other day at a theater that plays movies towards the end of their theater run, just before DVD release. What a disappointing movie. How anyone can make such a dramatic and important moment in WW2 be so dull and lifeless is beyond me.

We went to the same showing. I watched the original two weeks before to refresh my mind. It was quite good, albeit a bit long. It didn't feel too long, but my body definitely noticed that it was longer than the usual. I would most definitely recommend seeing the original before and it ties it all together nicely. I think many Khmers chicks would get I if they saw the original.chkwoot wrote:My wife and I saw it yesterday at Aeon's Major Cineplex. This movie is amazing! My wife (Khmer), who doesn't like sci-fi, and never saw the first one (which came out 35 years ago!), absolutely loved it. Get ready for a 2 hour and 44 minute mind-blowing experience. Theater #5 (the largest screen), $3.5 (some special mon-thur promo) +$1(?) 3D glasses if you don't have your own. Do not see in 4DX.
Agreed, quite disappointing after the hype.Edwardo wrote:I did see Dunkirk the other day at a theater that plays movies towards the end of their theater run, just before DVD release. Thanks for the advice and reports about bladerunner, will download the original and watch it with the wife before watching the sequel.

The Co creator of Netflix started this company a few years ago in the US called MoviePass. You paid 30usd per month for the ability to see 1 non 3d movie every day. They send you a MoviePass mastercard. You check in within 100 meters of the theater you select then choose your movie. This activates their credit card for 30 minutes and you just use the kiosk or manned desk to buy said ticket.
3 months ago, they dropped the price to 10 usd per month so I bought 2 subscriptions for us. CEO dude said he plans to lose a hundred million or so but it generated a lot of internet buzz and a lot of people signed up. If you use it just once per month, it pays for itself.
Going to go see this bladerunner movie in an hour. Heard great things.

Anyone who doesn't like Capitalism is a pathetic loser. God bless the USA and no place else.

If you want to see Blade Runner 2049 on the big screen in Cambodia, do it very soon. Aeon has only 3 non-4DX showings today. 4DX would be a horrible experience for this movie. The constant seat movements and air blowing in your face would detract from the story and beautiful images, in my opinion.
Aeon has a new movie. "The Snowman." Rated 30/100 by metacritic.com.

I think I've found my next username...or bar name.IMDB wrote:Detective Harry Hole investigates the disappearance of a woman whose pink scarf is found wrapped around an ominous-looking snowman.

Only a handheld camera copy on my android box at present. As usual, it will be a few weeks before a better copy comes out, but heck its free and in my house (55" flat screen). The directors cut of the first one is a classic of the first water. Already watched the new Kingsman and thought it so-so.

It had some moments.
But it was too long and on the whole self indulgent toss.
Bit like Dunkirk.
