Landlord problems at The Italian House
I also cannot understand why a business would allow it's staff to park directly in front of the premises and to block foot traffic from entering ?
Customers are the life blood of the business.
Don't make potential customers walk past because it's too difficult to squeeze past all the bikes belonging to staff and/or owner.
Customers will take their business elsewhere if it's to much of a bother to get in the front door.

I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.

What about space for customers to park their bikes? If I cant just ride up and park and have some guy organising and watching the bike I don't stop.scoffer wrote:I also cannot understand why a business would allow it's staff to park directly in front of the premises and to block foot traffic from entering ?

Went there last night. Ordered a pepperoni/salami pizza and a calzone. Pizza was good, calzone was excellent. I wasn't really expecting much with the calzone to be honest, as few seem to do them justice. For my tastes, it was spot on. Well priced for the quality as you say tombraider.Nasty Canasta wrote:Thanks for posting that, will give them a try soon. Pics look quite good.tombraider wrote:
Have to give a recommendation for Romano's on St 154, looks like nothing from the outside but pizzas are excellent and ridiculously cheap for the quality https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_ ... _Penh.html
I had to climb over garbage bags to get inside and park my bike in front of their neighbors.Mèo Đen wrote:What about space for customers to park their bikes? The owner has become increasingly unhinged over the last few years (meth?). Screaming at staff and throwing things at them. Quality has dropped dramatically. The last time we went, a few weeks ago, was one of the all time worst restaurant experiences I've ever had in Cambodia. We will never go back. Read some of his Google, Facebook, and TA replies to unhappy customers.
Piccola Italia Da Luigi is now our favorite, even though it's in Ballsac hipster land.

I went back a couple of nights ago and got another calzone. It was just as good as the first one. I only order the medium, which is plate sized, a large one must be enormous.Marinaris wrote:Tried the same order as Nasty, Calzone is great indeed !tombraider wrote:Nasty Canasta wrote:Went there last night. Yes, the atmosphere isn't that great, it's a bit of an eat and go kinda place.
Lacklusting? Great new word. Makes me want to go to a girly bar.

While walking to Super Duper, after another amazing pizza at Piccola Italia Da Luigi, I saw a "Business for Sale" sign on the Italian House's door yesterday. Caveat emptor.
I am sooooo very sorry if you can't understand or appreciate my sarcastic facetiousness.
I heard on a barstool yesterday afternoon that the place closed for good yesterday and the owner has had enough of Cambodia and it's scams and will return to Mama Italia to live out his days in peace.
