What did you do for Valentine's day?
My wife and I went to a Japanese restaurant.

Which one did you go to?
Sushi Lab would have been great, or Greedy Pirate Feast if you had the whole place to yourself.
As I go out to eat more than I'm home, I cooked dinner last night, as something more special for us.

Bought her 4 red roses to represent each year of marital bliss, then killed 8 chickens for chinese new year to represent each member of her immediate family I'd blissfully kill.
Massive stalker
Great to hear there's still some if her immediate family you still seem to embrace.pedros wrote:Bought her 4 red roses to represent each year of marital bliss, then killed 8 chickens for chinese new year to represent each member of her immediate family I'd blissfully kill.

Stayed home and had a great home cooked meal - sushi, steak, cheese etc, cocktails, wine and whiskey. We have done similar for the last few years now (since it became de rigueur for locals to go out and block the streets with their scoopies and teddy bears). We will then usually go out somewhere nice for drinks and dinner at the weekend, when we won't have to book ahead just to be squeezed into a packed restaurant with a set menu Valentine's special.

we went to Sakana Lab (Same owner as Sushi Lab and just 50 meters further down the lane). Less Sushi more seafood. A very nice meal.Miguelito wrote:Which one did you go to?

Neither of us is really into the commercial mayhem that Valentine's Day is but we did go out for a good meal (not that we ever need an excuse for that). Charcoal restaurant in Siem Reap.
