I'm not watching it, just following text commentary. Seems like a very good fight! Come on, Joshua!
Just awaiting the verdict ...
Unanimous points win for Anthony Joshua!

with some mild Drama Joshua unified an extra belt and the fact Wilder was too much of a pussy fuck to come to the event has lost even more credential in their unification

Was pased out way before this. Folks are saying it was pretty dull, as all these overhyped fights tend to be. Was it worth staying up for?

not really, just another day in the office for Joshua, Parker was the one that didnt live up to his expectations, wasnt as dangerous as everyone was expecting tbh, was on the back foot all night and looked out his depth for the first 4 rounds, under constant pressure considering hes supposed to be a come forward fighter, he did come back strong in the 4th and 5th, but then fizzled out again as the rounds went on, did himself proud but just wasnt enough reallypedros wrote:Was pased out way before this. Joshua needed the rounds TBH to prove he wasnt a fighter that fatigues every fight if he doesnt knock them out in the first 3 rounds, was more like a heavy sparring session though tbh, one of those fights where both fighters show a bit too much respect and dont open up, going to watch it again today to analyze it properly,
the Dilian Whyte fight last week was a far better fight, Dilians my man, and Fury, been following him since he fought one of my very good mates in Furys like 5th fight, when he infamously punched himself in the face by accident lol

Great fight. Then again i'm being biased.
I can see AJ knocking Wilder spark out. I can see AJ doing a job on Fury. I can then see AJ having a rematch with Parker and knocking him out.

Deep down inside the knockout artist that Joshua became was a longing to be taken seriously as a methodical, skilful 12-round practitioner. His boxing idols, it is no secret, are Wladimir Klitschko and Floyd Mayweather...

true, i did see that in his last against Parker that hes quite happy to play it safe and sit behind the jab, and hes big and strong enough to do it, and finish the job if he gets chance,0zirC wrote:Great fight. Then again i'm being biased.

if he fights Wilder he could rack up the rounds, hope he weathers any storm if he gets caught, and win again on points,
id hope for an all guns blazing showdown but Wilder shew against Ortiz that he can be clammy against a big puncher, and so did Joshua against Parker,
Parker vs Whyte would be a cracking fight i reckon and one i hope for the future,
Tyson would dance rings around Wilder and Joshua though, like he did against the Klit, it would also be a similarly boring fight, but a big event
my man Dilian Whyte is now being made to fight Pulev for a final eliminator for Joshuas WBA world title, so if Whyte beats Pulev then he could have his rematch with Joshua
