I go for their lunch deal, which is three courses for something cheap like $7 or $8, containing a salad, soup, and main (the varenkis). Decent food, always very quiet there.joebren60 wrote:Irina Russian Restaurant, been there recently?? Pickled herring comes with a shot of vodka for an appetizer.

went there a year ago right after they were closed for renovations (I guess this is when the change of ownership happened?) I was utterly disappointed by the lack of German dishes. Not even Schnitzel on the menu but snails as an appetizer. Looking at the menu my friends were saying "this feels more like a Khmer/French place". The food was decent but not good enough given the prices.Playboy wrote:Swiss-German, with a great roasted pork knuckle.Miguelito wrote:They were Swiss, right, but changed hands a year or two ago?Playboy wrote:https://www.tell-restaurant.com/RickyBobby wrote:Any German Restaurants?

Since the change over they have become more 'European' in their menu.
I should actually check it out again soon, it has been a while since I last went.
