New Restaurant at the new PP Pub Street.
Expensive food in Phnom Penh. Here we get a delicious Hungry Jacks BBQ chicken burger for $3 Australian. And clothes are cheaper too, only a few dollars Australian for women’s and kids clothes.

I don't visit this site often and unless someone says they are referring to this site specifically, I have no idea what they are talking about. It still confuses me as I've reviewed the forum he was talking about and someone did make those comments... but it wasn't me. You would think you would double check the user name if you were preparing to confront someone about it. He kept insisting that I called him microdick or whatever. The encounter did not seem friendly and eventually after a couple minutes of a baffling argument, I decided that it was time to put an end to the conversation. Only after I told him to leave did he mention that he was there to eat. At that time, it was a little to late too change the atmosphere.Visser wrote:Shame you didn't take his picture and do as the supermarkets do, hang it up for all to see adding the words "banned" and "Mr. Micropenis"electrolime wrote:Considering his behavior at my place of business I would have to say no.
I’m going to take the dissenting view and side with logos here. His opening line was a tad odd, but, if I were the owner of a restaurant or bar, I’d probably try and turn it into a joke exchange rather than scare away a potential customer. The fact that electrolime thought it was someone with an axe to grind says more about him than it does about pindick.

Didn’t you promise to stop Australianising each thread?crazyjohn wrote:Expensive food in Phnom Penh. Here we get a delicious Hungry Jacks BBQ chicken burger for $3 Australian. And clothes are cheaper too, only a few dollars Australian for women’s and kids clothes.

You weren't there to witness the situation. I've been in this business a long time and have dealt with many strange customers and am very tactful. He was standing 6 inches from me insisting that I had insulted him. In any normal situation, the moment I said I had no idea what they were talking about, they should have apologized and dropped the conversation... but when someone INSISTS that you had been insulting to them at some previous time it USUALLY means they are looking for trouble. Also, your comment about me just jumping to the conclusion that I thought it was someone with an axe to grind is ridiculous. I have absolutely zero enemies in Cambodia and have never insulted anyone like that in my life... which is why it was baffling that he wouldn't give up trying to prove it was me that said it. I've been dealing with people from all walks of life for decades and I've never had a miscommunication like this before.

Thank you for your unsolicited analysis of my business model... but none of that is actually true.
1. Only a handful of restaurants serve 200g burgers in PP (all are more expensive). We also use the best cuts of meat ground fresh everyday.
2. I've worked in every type of establishment from dive bars to 4 star restaurants. My people skills are exceptional and is one of the reasons I've owned/managed successful restaurants for 15 years.
3. The location isn't in the heart of the sleeze and there are plenty of upscale places near here. Bouchon wine bar is just a couple blocks away. Is that sleezy?
4. I'm already making a profit, thanks.

So why say:

Nope. I was neither angry nor confrontational. Why would I have been angry ? It makes no sense as what you had written on the other thread (well it was your handle even if you claim it wasn't you) wasn't offensive, that's the whole point. Let's say I approached you with a bad joke which you didn't get. I'm not sure what you'd had to drink or your mood at the time but obviously you mistook it for something else entirely, hence the confusion on both sides. He was standing 6 inches from me insisting that I had insulted him.
No offense taken anyway and as I said good luck in your business. The best thing on this thread is your offer of a free beer for 440 members and that is what should be remembered.
Really?logos wrote: The best thing on this thread is your offer of a free beer for 440 members and that is what should be remembered.
Well lest it be forgotten, might one add that we have confirmation that this dreadful man logos is as utterly unconscionable in person as he is on the tinteweb.

As long as you’re not from Texas, I think a 200 gram burger is more than enough.LaudJohn wrote:Average burger patty size, sleeze location, poor personal skills, man I hope you do not need to make a profit to keep operating.
Lol nol, what a surprise. An experienced shitstirrer, in all its meanings, making vicious references just like a few previous posters whose avatar kept changing.Lol Nol wrote:Really?logos wrote: The best thing on this thread is your offer of a free beer for 440 members and that is what should be remembered.

Why don't you stick to your favourite expressions like "nig nogs", old man, rather than making up stories about stuff that was immediately erased? Are you bumboy's substitute daddy now, or just his drunken daily beer buddy?
You mention real life. Are you still wearing those funny pinky polos that don't quite match your orange hair?
Oh and no, that's not outing you btw, in case your buddy tries to ban me again for personal reasons using that excuse again. After all I was described enough times with I enjoy wearing to make it acceptable to mention your orange hair, surely?
