They have unsweetened yogurt at Thai Huot (meiji, $3 for half a liter) but I was wondering if there are better options. Is there any Greek style yogurt in Phnom Penh?
How about frozen berries (strawberries, blackberries, raspberries) ?
Where to find yogurt and berries?
Lucky has a good local yogurt and the regular frozen berry imports of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries, blackberries I don't know.
Frozen berries usually available at Thai Huot also - I've picked up strawberries, blueberries & raspberries no trouble - Toul Kork mind, not sure about BKK.

Make your own? Big bottle of MooMoo milk, mix with a small pot of Sunshine Minimart live yoghurt, pour into sealable containers, close lids and leave on kitchen counter for 12-15 hours (or until it sets). That batch can then be used as a starter for your next batch.

Thai Huot have stopped stocking it for some reason but as mentioned it is available from Lucky.
Frozen berries at TH and also fresh on occasion. For a convenient fix, a small spoonful of Bonne Mamam cerises griottes works well, or honey. Or fresh figs when you can get them
If adding to porridge to make it a bit more interesting this is my "Go to" - so many good jams there, blackberry or blueberry are my personal favourites, but the cherry jam you mention is also damn good & very convenient just to lob a spoon in & mix it up. There's also a stunning fig & cinnamon jam from Australia, forget the brand, if it's there it's a must have.MaxB wrote:..For a convenient fix, a small spoonful of Bonne Mamam cerises griottes works well, or honey. Make your own yogurt... [emoji56]
I strain mine through one of those cloths they use for making coffee. (this creates a, thick Greek kind of yogurt)

I just bought some frozen blueberries in Aeon II, a Thai brand, Sunny Day, or something like that. Haven't tried them yet. They also have raspberries. And Garden Centre yoghurt.

There's a couple of new Frenchy brands in Le Marche, or at least I hadn't noticed them before. Bought a kilo of framboise willamette yesterday, I think they are better quality than the ones in Aeon.

I thought I’d make a joke about buying berries in PP…..but I just don’t know how to pun it.
My posts are just jokes, maybe they're rude, offensive, and politically incorrect. They're not my opinion, viewpoint, idea, or judgement, but they're just fucking jokes so lighten up.
