There are 2 videos to this incident, the Thai guy punching the Aussie is after the fact. There is then the one filmed from a car behind which shows the initial incident where the Thai guy overtakes the Aussie and traffic comes to a standstill, the Aussie jumps out his car picks up a machete from his boot and smashes the passenger window and would appear to go for the Thai guy with his machete. He goes back to his car and with the Thai guy standing in the road proceeds to drive his car straight at him hitting him and bouncing him off the windscreen.

The poor old Aussie pensioner should be charged with attempted murder.

After viewing the 1st video I felt like jackrossi

After watching the 2nd , the only person I feel sorry for is the small girl crying at the end of the 1st video

I am not sure I would support the guy with a machete.

Given the full video perhaps you should rethink your reaction to situations where you aren't educated as to the facts.

This. Usual reaction on TV when the first video emerged along the lines of "typical Thai behavior". The old racists went quiet after the second video.....

See how easy fake news is?

If it's that easy for us, how easy is it for PRO story-spinners to create fake news?

+1. They weren't joking with the warning about offensive content at the beginning of the video, I found his hair style to be highly offensive.

Seriously though, this is a video that should be shown to everyone in that order, there are a lot of lessons to be learned. It's complete roller coaster, watched the first video up until the punch, then stopped as it looked over and felt like I wanted fight the sucker puncher, watched the second video and felt like I wanted to fight the old man. Then watched the little girl crying in the first video and felt like life is too short and precious for fighting over stupid shit.

Also a text book example of how easy it is to twist a story.

LOL:

The ‘Australian’ pensioner who was floored by a left hook in the parking lot of a Pattaya school on Wednesday after a road rage incident is really British national George Collins, 77, Thaivisa can reveal.
Mr Collins admitted that despite living in Brisbane for many years he considers himself British and travels on a British passport
He was born in Walsall in the midlands of England. He said he was 77 not 72 as previously reported in error strewn stories in the Thai press.
This morning he clarified his background in an exclusive interview with Thaivisa before he attended another hearing at Pattaya police station at 10am.
He still maintains his innocence despite facing a charge of attempted murder calling the whole thing a "crazy business".
The gold shop owner who punched him is being charged with assault and has apologized for his actions.

Feel real bad for the thai girl ( his daughter?)
this happened to me once here when i was taking my daughter to school and a thai thought i cut him off, he jumped out of his car after i parked and came out me, luckily there were other farangs and thai teachers standing near by me, who knew me and we just waited while he ranted and raved on till he left , really scared my daughter

I'd agree with those charges based on the video evidence, and yes horrific for kids to witness such violence.
