Bongs,
We have a limited time remaining here
And need to do 400kms in 5 days on our bikes, but since Dong Xoai, the hills have been brutal and have had no rest days since entering Vietnam.
So we are now north of Gia Nghia on QL14, but no one speaks english here.
Does anyone know which is the easiest rd for cycling - QL14C that runs up next to the Cambodia border or AH17?
As in , which is the less hilly?
Crossroads in Vietnam. Which road?

If you are trying to get to Pak Nhai then ql14 is less hilly but there are are a couple of big climbs. Ah17 would be similar to what you have encountered already but a better road surface, probably.
k440, something to do when you're pissed.

Communicated with the hotel owner up there through google dich, and he basically said its hard to walk on QL14C. When we got to the junction we started to go down it but not really a smooth surface, so pulled over and asked some mechanics who spoke no english, but think they basically said it was a dead end/crosses over the border.
So we got back on AH17, which was 40kms of downhill.A nice change from the previous 2 days. The night before you didnt even need a fan and was abit chilly. Everyone wearing coats. A few people mentioned David Beckham up there.
I cant seem to sign out. Lingering like a really smelly fart.
