Turns out my wife has been squirreling away a few bucks a month for the kids' future university expenses.
She's been using an account at ABA. I've heard they are a good outfit, but I'm not sure that she's getting the best interest rate available.
So my question is, where's the best place for depositing small regular monthly payments, say $50 - $100 a month, over a period of about 15 years?

I believe that ACLEDA have a number of different accounts that offer 5% . A retirement account, a hospital account and a university account, but don't take my word for it . Check em out.
k440, something to do when you're pissed.
Prasac have been offering something like 9% on KHR deposits for years- I just noticed CMK are advertising a 12% long term deposit (usually 1 year for MFIs). Haven't had a chance to check the details yet sorry, but guessing it is KHR also.

That is for a twelve month term deposit. The OP is asking for an account which lets his wife contribute a relatively small amount every month; two entirely different banking products.

Be careful, most of those products include some kind of insurance - of course the fee will be deducted.Rama wrote:http://www.amkcambodia.com/amk-en-deposits-109.html offer a 'Smart Kid Account' & a 'Future Account'
