I am really strugging to get rid of about $300 worth of Turkish Lira in Snooky.
I've tried about 5 different banks and a couple money changers around the market and all won't accept it.
Anyone know somewhere which will accpet or a hotel which offers multiple exchanges?
Anywhere you can change Turkish Lira?

I'll buy it from you (I'm in Phnom Penh though), but only at a discounted rate (that's only fair, after all, as I don't really need it at the moment, just willing to help out). What's the exact amount of lire that you have?
I'll be back in PP in 2 weeks time if I've still not changed it by then I will def take you up on your offer. I've no plans to go back to Turkey again so don't mind taking a reasonable hit on the exchange as you would be doing me a favour by taking it off me. Got 1200 of lira to change.
There's a restaurant at the end of the pier, on the right side when walking towards the sea and I do mean at the end of the pier, just before you hit the beach. When I was there a while ago a Turkish guy worked there. Maybe try that place? Anyway, good luck!
Try and Google "Turkish" and "Snatch" and see what you get!
pew, pew, pew, pew!

I was in Vietnam on an errand and needed Euro. I understand it is illegal to exchange Dong to foreign currencies. This was swiftly solved by going to a 5 star hotel and asking the reception to point me to a European customer. I bought 50 EUR with USD from a German, and the receptionist happily helped with giving me change. The whole thing took less than 10 minutes.
