Hi,
I'm back again with a question about having cataracts surgery in Cambodia since my cataracts are getting worse.
Unfortunately, Dr. Sean Lee has moved back to Malayasia.
Does anyone have any personal experience with having cataracts surgery here and any recommendations for opthamologists?
I know that basic cataracts surgery (monofocal) is a relatively common procedure. I would think about multifocal if it is available and affordable through a qualified doctor. My guess is that it is not available.
I'm also concerned about getting an accurate eyeglass prescription after the operations.
I've been to the eye center at the Bangkok Hospital in Bangkok, so I already know their general pricing and the procedure which will likely mean staying in Bangkok for 2 weeks to have both eyes done (not exactly practical to travel back and forth and if there were some kind of complications then it'd be better to be there).
Thanks for any ideas
Serious replies only, please
Andrew
