recommend a dentist in PP?
My teeth are now giving me hell, I fear dentists but its time to return and get some major work done.I now want to have nice teeth after ignoring them for years,I expect to have to spend up to 10k so I will probably go to wolfgang in toul kork.
Why do you want to go to someone named Wolfgang? I don't like having male dentists touching my face and sticking their fingers in my mouth. Sort of similar to the way I don't want a male giving me a massage.

k440, something to do when you're pissed.
No, I don't think so. I would go to your physio and let him massage me if my problem weren't partially on the front of my hip near my johnson. If it were just my back I would let him massage me, but as I mentioned, it's also my butt and the front of the hip.
But it's much nicer to have a woman do it, whether massage or dentistry.

I have received great dental care from Wolfgang, but I do admit that he looked quite intimidating at first sight
Dentist work is twofold:
- Know what to do and which techniques to use.
- Have flexibly fingers, simply because the mouth isn't especially a large area to work in.
So my preference for regular tooth repair works would be a serious Khmer lady with tiny, bendy fingers with a suitable education to do all the regular stuff.
Compare with the Concorde fuel tank post-accident refurbishing: They had an employee nearly as small as a thin dwarf, doing all that Kevlar lining work.

It's placeholder text, used for test prints and when you just want a large body of text in mock-up layouts of publications/ web-pages etc.BillyB wrote:

Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
Question, are any of the recommended dentists good at extractions and teeth replacements?
I have a broken back tooth (broken in half and half of it is missing) that really needs attention now. Been toughing it out for about 5 years but it's getting ridiculous now.
Thanks

Just had a broken back tooth sorted out: metal inlay. Quality pain free work by a very nice Japanese dentist: http://yp.com.kh/listings/kh50343-shigeta-dental-clinicAK87 wrote:Question, are any of the recommended dentists good at extractions and teeth replacements?

$170 and took 2 visits. So not cheap...but quality bit of metal in my furthest back tooth. I recommend him. My old dentist retired and this Doctor will be my replacement...they also offer some nifty tooth cleaning spray gun thingy which you can do every 4 months or just a very thorough clean every 6 months.

could not agree more. my mouth is [was] a mess. broken teeth... ancient temporary crowns..
enough mercury to kill a baby and in a few appointments i can now eat corn on the cob with confidence.
seriously. top notch place and not crazy expensive.

Roomchang is very very good! Not cheap, but they are the best in Cambodia, as far as I'm concerned....

Today, I did visit Lina @LaBelle Dental Clinic on 110th St. near Phsar Chaz myself.
Checkup & filling for total $10, it took some 30-45 minutes and I was served right away. Next week or so another filling at the other side and maybe some more cleaning up.
Due to the protests, her staff became scared, went home to the province and I did have to be dentist assistant and patient simultaneously
Until now, certainly a good experience and -as far as I can judge myself- no lower quality then back home. Quality/price sky rockets
Note: Given the costs, in Cambodia better be a english teacher then a dentist........

And, I did have another visit, yesterday. Big hole filled for $10.00. Cleaning another $10.00. She spent in total nearly 1.5 hours on me.
My impression is: Better work then in Europe AND despite without anesthetic, hardly any pain. Neither during the treatment, neither afterwards, not even the impression major roadworks have been done. In Europe, I usually tend to knock down the dentist, even with anesthetic, when being a drilling victim.
Indeed: Tiny, bendy female khmer fingers are preferable over rough western male ones
Somewhere next year, she is going to move to somewhere closer to the airport and will open a website for "promotion".
Indeed: The suction girl should get her physics understanding better. Collect water at the lowest point........
