I was recently told I could buy coverage through the SOS clinic (http://www.internationalsos.com/en/abou ... dia_35.htm) for 6 months and it would be comprehensive and reliable. Being an American I have my own skewed view of what "comprehensive" and "reliable" is. So more specifically, has anyone had success with this clinic? Is it better over alternatives? In terms of what I need, I'm on a blood thinner right now and need to get a 5 minute blood draw once or twice a month. Also, it would be nice to have the clinic that does my blood checking also be able to see me for general doctor/clinician needs if they arise.
The cost for SOS is relatively cheap (under $1k for 6 months), but is this telling in terms of quality/reliability/efficiency?
Thanks!

I've been there twice and I was impressed both times enough to recommend them, although they were expensive for a walk in visit. I can only say that the docs I saw where fairly knowledgable and friendly but I forgot their names.
I go there, I like most doctors there.
So does that plan cover all visits and medications?..(and lab work x-rays etc) or is it just insurance brokered through them and you still have to pay and claim? or is it just membership? I know its open later for some businesses so would it cover that? Very interested indeed.

For blood-testing/letting there's a very good clinic on Kampuchea Krom called Biomed which charges far less than SOS.
Only ever used SOS once, but their diagnosis was rapid and spot-on, typhoid.

SOS use Biomed and pasteur if they cant do it themselves...but not sure if there are docs at biomed that can interpret the tests for you?

No, you would need to take the results to a decent doctor.
It's purely a testing facility with medical technicians and nurses.
