I had an Mri in phnom penh at japanese hospital several months ago on my knee.
Price was $150 usd
I was in pain and they clamped my knee creating discomfort causing me to keep moving during the process. This causes the machine to repeat the area of the blurr.
The price in Thailand is $600
I paid an aditional $15 for consultation of results with their doctor and they gave me a DVD with the image that i could email around for quotes for surgery.
I flew to chiang mai Thailand for 2nd 3rd and a specialist neurosurgeon for quotes for surgery which is unavailable in Cambodia. Resulting in quotes from $2500 to $3500 for an Authroscopic partial medial memsectomy. With a 2 to 4 month wait. So i flew to Ahmwdabad india who qhoted me $2200 immediately and i negotiated $1500.
They took great care of me from begining to end with a 2 night stay in a private room with wifi and tv then released me and took me to Airport in an ambulance as a taxi.
More info is MRI cheapest in Cambodia Exray cheaper in Thailand $6 versus $15
Good luck and use the bottom line for your decisions not pricipsls.
