This medicinal plant is a strong reliever of social anxiety, as im looking into alternatives to the harmful effects of alcohol for relaxation and social enjoyment
the stuff is legal here and im wondering where one might procure such a medicinal plant?

had a bunch a few years back when i was in the US. if you've never tried it... you're in for a hell of a shock. tastes like complete shit.
the buzz is fun i suppose, but nothing (and i tried all the tricks the internet suggested) made that taste go away... and it stayed with you for hours. ended up giving what i'd ordered away to a buddy.

Those who begin coercive elimination of dissent soon find themselves exterminating dissenters. Compulsory unification of opinion achieves only the unanimity of the graveyard.

itsagame----> Yes, something I am also interested in. I suggest you channel your inner Schultes, sharpen your linguistic & taxonomy skills and befriend your local gardeners, squatters & hill-folk. P.S.---Are you positive it's legal in Cambodia?, not that anyone would necessarily give a damn...
Perhaps it compliments drinking~~~

Dried leaves, made into a tea.Iridesce wrote: OD---> What form did you take?
Tried mixing it with various teas, with coffee, with orange juice... nothing helped.
Buzz was like taking half a vicodin, and I definitely see how it could have potential for getting people off of opiates (in fact that's who i gave it to, a buddy trying to shake a smack problem... one of my many failed attempts to try and get him to clean up) as it hits all the same spots, but without the addiction potential (though it still exists if overdone).

I searched high and low for it in Indonesia, to no avail...
Just smoke the green stuff!

don t know what that means, but it seems a bit harsh when i am looking to avoid probably the biggest reason for 'banana' checkouts~boozingricecakes wrote:I'm tipping you are the next top banana check out.....
im pretty sure it would be legal here iridescence, considering how relaxed they are about ganja id be very suprised if they were tough on this native plant....here's a snippet i pulled from the internets
"So, I am not surprised that you don't get a response from those names because those are Indonesian and Malay words for Mitragyna. I'm not sure what the Vietnamese word is for it is but the Thai term is ithang."
taste isnt so much a problem....if its very bitter etc it could have healing properties for the liver etc....or you could distill the oil and put it in a gelcap...many ways to take plants....all plants have a useful purpose, just exploring a better option than feeling like shit the next day with a sore throat from drinking cheap angkor beer
Right now there's high-level talk about legalizing kratom in Thailand. Is it an established fact that it is currently legal in Cambodia, or is its use just tolerated, more or less?

Most Kratom is sold to Euro/US vendors who sell it online making a fast buck. There are many different types of Kratom with different effects. Small doses are said to be stimulating, whilst high doses more opiate like, painkilling. Thai 'pimp Kratom' is a strong/active one that is very potent for weight requiring little plant material. The Bali one is less potent by weight requiring more plant material, and also more sedating in general effects. There are several other types of Kratom too. So a Kratom user would try a few types of varying doses to find the right one for themselves. The Kratom extracts are said to be expensive and not usually as good as leaf. Kratom is suggested for Legalisation in Thailand so as to provide a safe alternative to their meth problem.
I was never offered any during my stays in Thailand or Cambodia, it's likely to be more a farmer's thing i would imagine, and since it's not great tasting i would imagine tourists would be more up for getting drunk instead, as they usually do.
Personally i do not believe that Kratom is the answer to Social Anxiety. Keeping healthy and not taking yourself or others too seriously is probably a better strategy.

Limited use of anything that sounds like it is homemade in a bathtub sounds like sound advice if you ask me.
