Travel agents in Myanmar for India visa

Postby spitthedog » Tue Nov 06, 2018 8:36 am

Does anyone know if one can use a travel agent in Myanmar to get a 6 month India visa?

We are on bicycles so are thinking it may be more convienient to use an agent in Bago if possible, rather than go all the way south to Yangon in the opposite direction.

Thanks

Hope you have better luck than I did in trying to get a six month visa for India. I gave up after repeatedly being told by the embassies in KL, Singapore, Jakarta and Bangkok that they would only issue six month visa to non- natives of those countries if they held a work permit or had resident status. The best I could have hoped for was a two month e-visa and it was very unclear if that could be used a land border.
Please keep us informed as to how you get on.
Cheers

Getting 6 months is no problem when applying in person i think. 1 year not so.
