Khmer Visa to Hong Kong
Khmer Visa to Hong Kong
Does anyone have any upto date info on Khmer eligibility for a visa to Hong Kong? And the most simple way to apply in the KOW? I assume it's not VOA. Cheers.

My wife got hers with minimal fuss through One World Travel, near Larrys Bar.

Cool, cheers for the info. Will try one world Travel. I don't think she's too keen to head to the Chinese Embassy.

It's a consulate not embassy. Probably a room in a nondescript building.
You'd better tell her there's lots of those Chinese types in Hong Kong!
Just curious. Are you getting married in HK?

pew, pew, pew, pew!
Haha, my bad wasn't paying attention last night. I'm heading there for a trade show with work in Macau and she will come along and we can have a weekend in Hong Kong.
No plans of marriage yet even though we've been together over 8 years. Although I hear it's the place to go should we ever go down that route.

I traveled to HK with the missus partly because it's so easy to get the Visa. Any agent will do it.

Cheers for the link. What are the conditions for a sponsor in Hong Kong? We don't have any contacts.

From eyeballing the form, I think you could just say "No sponsor, tourist visit, staying at XYZ hotel"Typhoon wrote:Cheers for the link. What are the conditions for a sponsor in Hong Kong? We don't have any contacts.

Cool, did you need any proof of her salary or a sponsor in HK? On agent said a $20,000 deposit is required, I'm hoping that's bullshit.GMJS-440 wrote:I traveled to HK with the missus partly because it's so easy to get the Visa. Any agent will do it.

No deposit requirement. It was basically no requirement besides having valid passport and paying standard fee.
Cheaper for her compared to mine for HK, as a "Murrican

Wow...they really hate Americans don't they. I was just curious and checked. $20 for Cambodians, $30 for every other country except the USA, and $140 for USA passports.GMJS-440 wrote:No deposit requirement. It was basically no requirement besides having valid passport and paying standard fee.
