Anybody recommend one, no 5 star crap needed, even a decent guesthouse will do.
Need one for 3 nights.
Thanks in advance.
Hotel in Seoul?
Should be crazy amounts available now that the Olympics are over. Fwiw, when I had made plans to go 2 years ago Airbnb was by far the cheapest option.vladimir wrote:Anybody recommend one, no 5 star crap needed, even a decent guesthouse will do.

Seoul is a pretty big, spread out city. Getting around even 'central Seoul' can take over 30-45mins by subway, depending on location. Do you have a neighborhood/area you're looking for? (Itaewon, Hongdae, Gangnam, etc)
There are lots of 'minbaks' (korean style guesthouses) and 'love motels' (which are perfectly fine for a single guy) scattered all over, about $30/night. Or dorm style places for ~$10-15/night.
You can also 'rough it' by sleeping in a 24 hour sauna for about the same as a dorm.

Truly, I've got nothing better to do.

No five star crap? Man, you’re fussy. But I don’t think Seoul has anything higher than five star.vladimir wrote:Anybody recommend one, no 5 star crap needed, even a decent guesthouse will do.

As someone mentioned, Seoul is a big, spread-out city. But if you’re staying near the centre, the Millenium Hilton and the Hyatt near Itaewon aren’t crap.

Nope, sorry, insane rednecks, kiddy-fiddlers, conmen, tax-scammers, soap-dodgers, Tories and Republicans have been known to frequent this forum.
Otherwise, a normal SE Asian expat forum...
