Off to Saigon shortly, what's the best way to travel? I checked Giant Ibis, but they leave a bit later than I want, but will use them at a push.
Are there any other similar minibus companies that might leave before 6/7am? Otherwise what's the going rate for a taxi to the border and how easy is it to continue on in relative comfort on the other side? I have a bratty 3 year old, who even with half a valium and peppa pig will still be difficult, along with a fat and preggers with (who even with a whole valium and youtube will still be difficult).
I haven't been to Nam for years, although i doubt it's changed too much. Any tips for Jr, whale woman and a pair of British pensioners? We talking mid to lower-high-range baller here.
Hotel is already booked in District 1.
Getting to HCMC and things to do there?

Khai Nam are the only ones I've ever used. They have a bus about six times per day, some leaving at 5 or 6am. Quick, and buses are acceptable.
