Thinking of taking a day trip to Poipet just to play some games and mess around in the casinos for a bit. I think I saw where a bus leaves at 9:00 or 9:30 to return back to Siem Reap. I know they ask to have thai baht and if you don't have it, the exchange is an extra 15% or something. Lots of scams and stuff there. Hard to get rides to the bus station and get taken to places and get ripped off. I just want to go there and have fun for a few hours and come back that night. Has anyone ever done this and is it a pleasant experience or is it best avoided?
Other casino locations in the Cambodia seem to expensive for an overnight stay. I just want to play a little and leave without getting ripped off. Has anyone ever done it? Sound like a good idea?
