Life coaching
I’m sitting having lunch in TTP and at the next table there are 2 obnoxiously loud expats. One seems to be a life/career coach and is coaching someone on how to prepare a CV and refine her online ‘brand’ so she can get a better job in Cambodia.
It is complete bollocks and I have given up the work I was trying to do and am now barely hiding the fact that I am listening.
Am now playing buzz word bingo...
Synergies...your online brand...CV intrigue...your USP...complex simplicity
I am stunned that people actually pay for this advice in Cambodia and that there is a market which keeps these snake oil salespeople in business. Has anyone encountered them in Cambodia and what do they charge for the ‘advice’?

If you were more focused maybe you could have carried on with the work you were doing. Ironic no?
I think they cater to people with mental inefficiencies and sadly this generation of snowflakes need people like that to get them through life without poking themselves in the eye with a fork or ending up in A&E with a stubbed toe.
I have met a few life coaches and without exception I just wanted to smack them in the face or choke them out until they turned blue. Using the latter attack would allow them to still hear me as I told them what utter tripe they preach, whilst jabbing them in the eye.
Still. Could be worse. They could be French.

Sounds like you could use some expert guidance.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote:I’m sitting having lunch in TTP and at the next table there are 2 obnoxiously loud expats. Every day we make choices to do or not do many things. These choices may range from profound to trivial and each one has an effect that makes our lives more fulfilling or less fulfilling, more balanced or less balanced, that make our process of living more effective or less effective. I can help you learn how to make choices that create an effective, balanced and fulfilling life.
I am highly trained as a generalist and can coach superbly on any aspect of life. However, I may choose to specialize in one or more of the following areas :
Confidence, Self Worth & Self Esteem
Loving Relationships That Work
Career Change - Creating Workplaces That Work
The Mastery of Balance - Juggling a Life
Self Care - Getting Your Own Needs Met
Living Your Purpose
Hot Buttons - Managing Anger, Upsets, Frustration and Stress
Managing Grief, Loss, Sadness and Change
Connection Parenting
Self & Identity - Surviving the Oppressive Over-Culture
Homesteading, Environmental Activism & Permaculture
Artists - Creativity & Art
Food, Nutrition, & Optimal Health
So, obviously, there is absolutely nothing that I cannot do.
PM me. Namaste.
I am sooooo very sorry if you can't understand or appreciate my sarcastic facetiousness.

A bit gay, short-time, crazy, stupid, life coach as president? Would definitely be better than the current Commander in Chief. Would I have to move back there?

My karma's been feeling a bit itchy, and the guilt is stealing my chi. I must come clean. I plagiarized text from a copywrited world wide web site, and posted it here without the express permission of Carmine Leo and LifeCoaching.com © 2001-2016 (I guess it's still 2016 somewhere, right?). Here is the site: http://www.lifecoaching.com
The good news is: I've a discovered a new opportunity for unemployed/unemployable expats and sexpats, and His Majesty King Jambalaya "slick" Willie. You too can become a life coach! Yes, even you!
And here's the link to iPEC (which MUST be checked out!): https://ipeccoaching.com
Please don't sue me last year, Carmine. Thank you!

Here's the link:http://www.lifecoaching.com/pages/becom ... coach.htmlThere are many different coaching schools around the world, each bringing their own unique amalgam of philosophy, personnel, process and model. We want to support you in choosing a school that will deliver to you the training you are looking for, that meets your needs, intentions, goals and interests, and that is ideally suited for who you are. Everyone who wants to become a coach is searching for a training program that fits with who they are. One school may be ideal for one person, yet another person may find that a different school is a better fit for them.
Throughout the years that Kellie and I have been in the coaching community, we have encountered many extraordinary coaches who were trained at many different schools. We have come to understand that there are many pathways to greatness, and that each person must walk their own path. In keeping with that understanding, we would like to offer you our recommendations to the coach training schools that we consider to be exceptional in their comprehensive training.
We would advise you to do your homework in researching these schools and their programs. Look for the best fit for you, whatever makes the most sense personally and professionally. Compare their curricula, talk with their graduates, satisfy both your intellect and your heart that the program you choose is the one to empower you to be who you want to be, and go where you want to go.
Just so we are clear, both Kellie and Carmine are graduates of iPEC. Yes, that probably means we are biased, but with good reason. There are coaching training schools out there that will gladly take your money and completely fail to teach you how to coach. On the other hand, iPEC simply has a world-class program, which is why we continue to recommend them above all other schools.

Jealousy is a very unattractive trait.YaTingPom wrote:Bit gay.
Off topic from OP but on topic for YTPs comment. Are there any other Tapatalk users seeing dodgy adverts... I thought these things were targeted based on ones search history... but I’ve never searched for THAT...
I’ve looked for an option like there is on Gmail to say ‘I’m not interested in this’ but Tapatalk doesn’t seem to offer that.
