Hello!
So... I have recently arrived in Phnom Penh, intending to stay here until after new year, before heading off to Siem Reap to work. I have two questions, one regarding my stay in Phnom Penh, and one about the coast.
So:
1 - Does any of you know if there are any decent shops in PP for buying a guitar? Looking for a Fender Jazzmaster, if cheap enough. Any info regarding prices etc?
2 - If anyone of you are familiar with foghorns, I was wondering if you could tell me where (if they exist here) I could find one... At the moment I'm not really sure if there's fog here at all, but it can't hurt to ask you.
Well, any answers appreciated...

I know of a mint condition '62 Fender Jazzmaster for sale. Ask Fender...Does any of you know if there are any decent shops in PP for buying a guitar? Looking for a Fender Jazzmaster, if cheap enough.
It's blatantly obvious to even a cretan that there is no fog in Cambodia, and you will not be needing a foghorn.nemokyrre wrote:If anyone of you are familiar with foghorns, I was wondering if you could tell me where (if they exist here) I could find one..
There are no foghorns, although i do know some people who have foghorn voices..perhaps you could adapt these to your own individual needs?
Otherwise I suggest that you try the more commonly used conch shell horn, first made popular in 'Debbie Uses da Horn', and later in 'The Lord of the Flies'.
The Khmer word for conch horn is "Saing". In the past, the blowing of a conch shell by a Brahmin priest created a propitious vibratory environment for divination, propitiation, or to signal the arrival of the sovereign. Some villages still use these, along with gongs..
A good conch can be picked up for a little over $100 (on the web), or you may try buying a local village's, leaving them without a part of their ancestral heritage, but leaving their village with enough rice wine to be drunk for 6 months...
This is not true. It can hurt. In fact, your question has hurt my brain... a lot....I'm not really sure if there's fog here at all, but it can't hurt to ask you

I can't believe you are STILL getting away with inserting blatant advertising on your posts!!!!!!!toby wrote:nemokyrre,
There are severals guitar store near Phsa Tmei. However, i don know if they sell Fender. If you dont mind getting a second hand guitar. I suggest you go to any Beer Garden and ask the guitarist there if they knew any place to sell.
