Learning French
Learning French
This I've never seen on these forums before: Does anyone know of good schools or private teachers of French in PP?? I'd love to learn French, and it might prove useful if I go to the excellent French dentist mentioned recently.

Hello Justyn,
If I remember there are one or two French schools in PP but I really don't know if they teach French for adults? To find a privat French teacher could be easy. Just post ads in the french cambodia newpaper.
However, if you want as I'm French I can teach you in private lessons, I'll be in PP next week and certainely have some free afternoons.
Au plaisir de se rencontrer.

International schools used by community: American students generally attend either Northbridge International School Cambodia (NISC), located about 15 minutes away from city center, or International School of Phnom Penh (ISPP), in city. NISC, with 200-plus students, has an American-style curriculum and American and international faculty. The grade range is pre-school through grade 12. There is a pool on-site where students have weekly swimming classes. The pool is part of a sports club attached to school that families of students can join at reduced rates. Website is www.NorthbridgeCommunities.com, e-mail is [email protected]. ISPP has two facilities, with preschool and elementary on one side of street and middle/high school on other side. The faculty and curriculum are more British/Australian. Website is http://www.ispp.edu.kh/ ; e-mail the headmaster at [email protected]. There is also a French-language school, Lycee Francais Rene Descartes, open to all nationalities.
