Dear all,
Are all the travel agencies pretty much the same fare here or are there really differences in terms of price between them? If they are different are there any you recommend?
I'm trying to fly to the US from Bangkok. Is it better to buy a ticket in Bangkok or is it pretty much the same to buy here?
And are there any alternatives to buying from a travel agency that are cheaper (for example buying a ticket on line)?
Thanks for any advice you may have...

Travel agencies, plane fares
Thanks Baggy Gravy,
That seems to be what people have told me when I checked around at travel agencies in Phnom Penh. Good way to save money to go to Bangkok and buy there.
The ticket prices quoted were always until 31 march. Does anyone know if air tickets generally get cheaper or more expensive after 31 March?
Thanks

I've never flown Eva, but others have told me it is a perfectly decent airline. You could try www.flyertalk.com to see if there are comments there.

Eva is good, they are the main Taiwanese airline. CKS Airport transit is crap so take good reading material. Beware the PP - Taipei leg of the trip is not usually an Eva plane but one belonging to Eva's domestic airline, Far Eastern Air Transport (their acronym is "FAT"). Despite being called FAT the plane looks like a long skinny orange pencil and scares the crap out of me every time it takes off. One time liquid dripped all over me for the whole flight & the steward's response was to hand me a plastic cup to catch the drips in. NOT the best quality service but to save a few bucks on a short flight I can live with it.

I used EVA on my last trip. It was okay, not as good as China Airlines IMO. In fact, a stewardess got uppity with the guy sitting next to me just for a simple request. Guess it was her break time... Overall, I liked China Air better. I hear NW is the best overall at least from the US west coast because it cuts down a couple hours flying through Japan. Not sure how true that is.
Anyway, I've had great results with this website:
QIXO.com Give it a try, you'll like it, I promise. Way better than travelocity.
