So my camera broke down a few weeks ago, took it to Auna on Sothearos but the technician said the main card/motherboard had been affected so impossible to repair. Now I still used the 8gig memory stick which worked fine... until yesterday. It just stopped working. The camera said: "Memory card problem, check memory card". So I tried putting it in a few different devices including my laptop and it indeed isn't registering anywhere. So I'm looking for a place that can do data recovery. I'm guessing it's not much different than data recovery for computer hard drives. I'll go ask Auna on Monday if they also do data recovery but has anyone delt with data recovery in PP? I've had it done for hard drives before in my home country but SD cards might be a bit trickier.
Also, is there a place that is carrying all of the remaining hockey playoff games? Weird question in a country filled with Brits and others who mainly watch socc..., err football, so other sports are not in very high demand. Nonetheless, I was hoping I could catch a few games besides the final Stanley Cup game. Gym bar does not appear to be carrying them.
Cheers

I believe California 2 gets the ASN sports channel which carries a lot of the hockey games. I've watched some there.Bitteeinbit wrote: Also, is there a place that is carrying all of the remaining hockey playoff games? I watched the Boston game online on Saturday morning - I can't believe they blew the 3 game lead and then a 3 goal lead... They always disappoint. If they hadn't lost to Philly, they would have lost to Montreal.snowbound wrote:What the Habs did to Washington then Pittsburgh, no one could have predicted. Unbelievable...
Their were riots and looting the other night as usual in Montreal after game 7.
Philly's up next.
Hope you're able to catch some of the remaining games on the telly Bitteeinbit.
Yes, Boston's performance was very disappointing. That too many men on the ice penalty they took late in the game was shocking...
Dropping a three game lead like that in the Playoffs has only happened a few times in the history of NHL i think.
I predict who ever comes out of the western conference will win Lord Stanley's Cup anyway, but what do i know, i'm a Toronto Maple Leafs fan(no playoffs for us for 5 yrs)...

if your memory device has a hardware fault and that is why it is not being recognised it may be impossible to do any data recovery off it
if its just a severely fucked up and corrupted try the hiren boot cd it contains shit loads of data recovery tools and you don't need to boot of the cd to use it , you can run stuff from xp/win7 wotever your is your poison
