Over here in Vietnam. Looked around for hard drives, mostly Seagate and Maxtor. Approximate going prices for new Seagate drives are:
$96 US for standard 160GB ATA-100, 7200 rpm
bit more for SATA (150)
$123 for 200GB (100, 7200)
(131 for SATA version)
$166 for 250GB (100, 7200)
(183 for SATA)
$220 for 300GB..... Big problem is almost no place has the 250 and 300 GB. Found only one store with ONE 200gb drive, last one kind of thing. So in otherwords Vietnam specializes almost completely in 80gb and under, a few 120s and 160s around, but got the wave-off for most everything else. Is selection better in Cambodia? Would also appreciate some accurate prices for same drives. Thx.
Do any computer shopping recently? Cam prices please.
