Re: Thin Kerf Angle Grinder BladesI'm not sure what they are and a search showed what look like circular saw blades to me.The uncle does a lot of fabrication (inventing and making insane machines) so I'll ask him later if you describe them a bit better or post a picture.
Re: Thin Kerf Angle Grinder BladesThe normal blades for cutting steel are abrasive composite with a thickness of 2.8 mm. These are thinner so cut a lot quicker as they dont have to remove as much material or kerf.

If in doubt about hardware shops go to the makita shop on mao tse tung,great shop. They have american C clamps for $7.50 that cost nearly $40 in australia. The shop is on mao tse tung on the right as you come from the river just past the chinese embassy.
