I have definitely seen it here but for the life of me I can't remember where. I thought it was at Bayon but couldn't see it the last time I was there and it sure isn't at Thai Huot either. Any clues anybody?
Old Bay spice?
Can't help you, but I'm coming in next month from Maryland, where we worship the stuff on all our fries. Should I bring a couple of boxes with me?
What is it, I have never seen that before?
Does it contain MSG?
Edit: (Google is my friend..)

Wikipedia wrote: The seasoning mix includes mustard, paprika, celery seed, bay leaf, both black and red pepper, cinnamon, cloves, allspice, nutmeg, cardamom, salt, and ginger.[2] It is regionally popular, specifically in Southern States and parts of the Gulf Coast. Due to the strong presence of the United States Navy in Maryland and Virginia, it is a common fixture in galleys onboard Navy ships. It is chiefly used to season crab and shrimp.
In addition to flavoring seafood, the seasoning is often used as a topping on popcorn, salads, eggs, fried chicken, french fries, tater tots, corn on the cob, boiled peanuts and potato chips. Several movie theaters in the Chesapeake region offer it in the condiment section.

I'll have another look around first as I know I've seen it here, but thank you for your kind offer and I may well take you up on it yet. "You're only young once but can be immature for the rest of your life."
That looks like decent stuff.
I was originally thinking that it was like the Knorr Aromat seasoning.
Aromat is:
Salt, maize flour, monosodium glutamate, yeast extract, flavourants, partially hydrogenated vegetable fat, anticaking agent (E551), flavour enhancer (E631, E627), vegetables, spices, herbs, soya lecithin, garlic.
Just a bit different!

You should avoid this it has M.S.G in it (monosodium glutamate) google the dangers of m.s.g and see for yourself.BillyB wrote:That looks like decent stuff.

You're assuming they know what msg is and they aren't just giving you the answer they think you want. Ask them how much and if it's natural or artificial. Watch the blank look on their face.starstrike wrote:hey jm i do eat khmer food but i always ask if it contains msg first, if they say yes i go somewhere elsejm wrote:Apparently you never eat Khmer food.

The good thing about organic food is that it's a good excuse to get rid of the extra 3 billion people you couldn't feed if they whole world went organic.

I know this thread is old but I needed to find it today for valentines day dinner. After running around the city checking nearly every super market, I found the large 24oz container of it at Pencil Super Market for $18.
Just thought I'd drop that info in here since no one mentioned anyone specific and I had a hell of a time trying to find it today.
specifically this one:
