Follow this guy... http://www.khmer440.com/chat_forum/memb ... le&u=41118
Here are the condensed Step-by-step instructions if you don't wish to read through it all...
1. Create an less-than-elaborate thread claiming to be followed by the Phnom Penh Pedo Police but claiming your innocence... http://www.khmer440.com/chat_forum/view ... 15#p763915
2. Apply for a new passport at the Embassy.
3. Let things settle for a while, and book your ticket out of the country.
4. Orchestrate a "sting" http://www.khmer440.com/chat_forum/view ... =1&t=54898 where you get arrested for "Visa Overstay" - N.B as you created the plot to your own drama you can decide where and when this happens.
5. Settle down for a few days in the hotel of your choosing while the Embassy generously organises someone to carry your cases for you. Remember as a US Citizen you have paid enough tax dollars to recieve this courtesy service whenever you need it. This is not an indication of guilt.
6. Spend some time on the K440 forums throwing enough smoke grenades into the room to extract an entire classroom of Chibok Schoolgirls. Protest your innocence, post some photos of where you are and threaten the owners of K440 with legal action if they don't remove the threads.
7. Continue to deny that you were ever kiddie-fiddler and fly home and "innocent" man albeit with some minor unrelated felony charges in another state under a slightly different name and age; despite overwhelming evidence suggesting you were once a collector of pre-teen porn and kindergarten upskirt pics.
8. Get home to the open arms of Mummy and Daddy and once again start posting on K440 about the injustice of it all.
Apparently this method is a fucking nailed on cert to work... and as our in house pedo will guarantee you will be welcome back to PP with open arms whenever you want... just remember not to use the same user name you have used on other websites that support the notion you are a bullshitting nonce.

It was 2011 so 5 years ago.chkwoot wrote:What year was that? You were quite lucky! I believe it is much more difficult and extremely expensive now. Also, the OP is more than a couple of months overstayed.KPTIC wrote:I once got a new visa even though I had over stayed an expired one. There was a girl named Samol that used to have a travel stand on Sisowath near the bottom of 136 that did it for me. No extra fee or anything, and my visa was a couple of months overstayed. I don't think she is still there, but maybe she has set up shop somewhere else. Ask around.

I would say if you want to leave by air or land maybe try and just say; lost passport, didn't want to buy another Cambodian visa as I'm leaving to go back home for work, Is there anything they can do ? I expect that they'll find it may cost them around 1000 or even less. They should be prepared to spend a couple of weeks to a month in immigration detention in case they haven't got the 1000 or it's a bad day for the immigration guy. This is Cambodia. I can't see a Cambodian missing the chance to put an easy 500 or 1000 in his pocket, can you?

If they are prepared to spend time in immigration jail that's probably the best option. So the OP might not have the $3000 or whatever in overstays. He should keep $1000 in the bank or under the mattress or buried under the coconut tree or wherever these renegades stash stuff.
I'd be very careful about trying to bribe anyone at the airport, their job is to notice any discrepancies and pass that information up the chain. Don't expect to get an exit stamp just because you slipped someone a few dollars. There's far more money to be made squeezing someone anyway.
So he could buy an AirAsia flight to Bangkok, and try to get through immigration. Then when he gets arrested he should just allow them to take him to the jail for a while. It's not a big jail, and it's conveniently located across from the airport. It is however a fucking dump. So rather than stumping up the full tally which he doesn't have, he can just sweat it out for a bit with all those Ghanaian and Sri Lankan cell mates. Give it the sob story for a few days, until they cut a better deal. Then get the money delivered and leave, they probably won't even blacklist you.
The alternative is to wait out for an undetermined amount of time in immigration. It won't be pleasant. After a few months they'll round up all the illegals in detention and take a group photo and deport them en-mass.

Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

When do you try to bribe someone, please do it like Gilbert Gottfried's character in "Beverly Hills Cop II."
