I'm coming from the UK in a year and as a sikh, I wanted to know if other sikhs were out there. My online research showed that there are no Gurdwaras (Sikh Temples) in Cambodia. I would like to know if any of you know otherwise or know of any sikh communities. However, I will only be visiting Phnom Penh and Siem Reap so those locations mainly if possible.
Thanks and VJKK VJKF to any fellow Gursikhs out there!
Any Sikhs Out There?

Good question Harsev. I can't ever remember seeing a Sikh in Phnom Penh, but there is a good sized Indian community. The best thing to do would be to contact the Indian Embassy http://www.indembassyphnompenh.org/ They would be able to steer you properly.

There is another thread for 2011 on here that talks about a group that meet once a week on Street 122.. I can't link from Tapatalk so have a search.

I think the first Indian restaurant in the early 90s was owned by a Sikh who had been here before and buried gold in 75 before he fled. He came back and found it if you believe the story. It was a fancy place for the times. He was larger than life. Quite the dude.
There was a Brit Sikh couple running on the hash here for a few months - great people. Unfortunately they have just moved on to pastures new.

I want to bump this thread back up. Does anyone have anything new to add to this post. I am also looking for a Gurdwara in Phnom Penh.
