OK so I would like to buy cod but don't know if that's possible. Really would like to make my own fish and chips. If they don't sell cod can anybody recommend a suitable alternative and where to get it.
Next English style Sausages, I am forever going to restaurants that advertise full English when the Sausages taste nothing like a full English.
I also bought frozen English sausages the other day and I could not even eat them they were awful.
So where can I buy real English sausages in PP for me to cook myself.
Thanks
Cod and English Sausages

Cod is a North Atlantic fish, I'm not sure where you can get it here. There are lots of shops that sell English style sausages, from old established places like Dan's Meats to Smokey da Boar and Strokesy's and The Meat Shop.

I'd second the meat shop on street 450, it's actually owned by an English man so the sausages taste great - it also opened after 2016.
As for the fish I know many restaurants choose dory or snakehead fish. Vedgy's on 240 has a range of frozen European fish in addition there is also a butcher/fishmongers on street 360/95 with a large range of frozen fish.

Snakehead fish is usually used as a cod substitute here. It's cheap, and tasty if cooked correctly.
I am sooooo very sorry if you can't understand or appreciate my sarcastic facetiousness.
I had homemade fish and chips last night, not sure what fish it was, but most likely snakehead. Tasted pretty good fried up in tempura flour.

you should try this
Boil a pot of water
turn off the heat
put in unfrozen sausages (i.e. defrosted if required)
leave ten minutes
remove from water and fry in a little oil to brown the skins
