Where to buy Béarnaise Sauce ?
Where to buy Béarnaise Sauce ?
Any idea? I just checked Thai Huot but couldn't find it. Has anyone seen it in bag m Bayon, Aeon, Super Duper or lucky?
I’ve seen it in SuperDuper and the small grocery store on 155 near the gelato shop. It was in a 1 lt bottle though, not sure how long it would stay good for once open, that’s a lot of bearnaise. Probably more economical to just make your own, plus it’ll taste much better than a packaged bearnaise or hollandaise.
I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.
No luck in Super Duper (Sothearos Branch). Have you seen it in the other one? was ist where they keep the mayonnaise and the mustard?
Was at the original SuperDuper in TTP, same aisle as the sauces, seasonings, etc...going back a couple months now though, I just remember seeing it and hollandaise and thinking “yuck!”.

Always made my Béarnaise Sauce the traditional way and was surprised that you could buy it in a jar. The video shows a "quick and dirty" method of making it, don't know how good it is thoughPSD_Kiwi wrote:Was at the original SuperDuper in TTP, same aisle as the sauces, seasonings, etc...going back a couple months now though, I just remember seeing it and hollandaise and thinking “yuck!”.
I did it like this but I feel it is a little bit too sour now. Maybe I should add some water to the reduced vinegar after it is done? another pain was getting the Estragon. is there any store that is selling it fresh?Mèo Đen wrote:Always made my Béarnaise Sauce the traditional way and was surprised that you could buy it in a jar. I think you might need to reduce the herb mixture a little longer to get rid of the vinegar sourness. Tarragon(Estragon) is available dried at Thai Huot, not sure where you can get fresh.aem wrote: I did it like this but I feel it is a little bit too sour now.
