Who can help?
I want shipping about 100 kg. (Mixture of pepper, salt, sugar) from Cambodia to Germany shipping.
I have already sent smaller quantities via EMS (Cambodia Post). But that would be too expensive for 100kg or more.
That's why I'm looking for another possibility.
Who has experience with other freight services, collecting container by air or ship?
thanks

read they got freight train from china to germany these days. no idea how to use it though
was also thinking ship the pepper and then mix when it gets there. cant see shipping salt across asia as sensible but i dont know the comparative prices
post office rates for various methods.

looks like 30 odd kg max so splitt it. just send the pepper instead?

100 kilos is a very small amount - you’ll need to use air freight probably. Talk to DHL or the cargo airlines such as Emirates, etc. That’s economical up to about 600 kilos I think, which would be your “pallet load”.Jacomo26 wrote:Who can help?

Other than that, up your quantity for an LCL shipment amount.
Be sure you have all required paperwork to get it into the EU. You can usually get away with shipping organic materials through the mail but when shipping through air- or sea freight customs will want to see official docs.
None but ourselves can free our mind.
Dear,
I have some experience in transporing products from se asia to europe.
100 kg is the worst possible amount to transport. It is ridiculous expansive. The formalities, handling and all these costs are just as expensive for 5000 kg as for 100 kg!
Importing 500 kg costs about 770 $,
1000 kgs only 820.00$
2000 kgs 950.00$
Full container appr 1500,00$
40 kg costs about 220$.
The best way to transport 100 kg is 2 x 40 and 1 x 20 kg. Costs appr 600$, for that price you can transport almost a complete palet of 500kgs.
Transport by train via China is not cheaper only a little faster. Ship is 23 days, train 10-12 days!
Prices are rough estimets! Do't forget costs to harbour!
My advise: Try to combine products. Collect them in one harber and send at least 500 kg! And dont ship not valuable products like salt unless it it full container.
