Having experienced with a few banks here over the years, ABA so far is my favorite. Staff seem well-trained, service is efficient, many ATMs, easy online banking,.The bads? Cant think of any for now, but like to hear whether they charge an additional fee from receiving an oversea wire transfer from a foreign bank account like the thieving ACELDA charging $20 plus in fee for receiving it.
I opened a account with them today, with 20 USD, and my balance is already down to just 5 dollars.
I am starting to question their security practices.... Thats why I asked.

$5 to set up the account and $10 for the card (or the other way around). Also a yearly card fee.Savage wrote:I opened a account with them today, with 20 USD, and my balance is already down to just 5 dollars.

Still cheaper than most of the others and much better internet banking/app etc
No matter who you deal with always get a receipt for deposits.
Years ago one of the in-laws made a deposit and did not get a receipt. Left and the money never appeared in the account.
And yes, ABA is the best bank in Cambodia for ease of use, internet banking & app, and many locations for ATMs. Not the best for getting high interest on deposits, but that is what MFIs are for.

What sort of internet banking can you guys do with ABA accounts? Can you transfer money to and from foreign bank accounts with a click and low/no fees or are you talking about something else?

What are we talking about then, checking balances and sending money online to/from other ABA accounts for free?

Phone top ups, and transferring from personal to interest to the missus account.

Yes.....you absolutely can. You apply for full internet banking and are given a token code generator.
I have had 0 issues transferring more than the USD$10,000 daily limit on multiple occasions. (CAMBODIA to AUSTRALIA).
