I know, first world problems and all that...
I had a few pics framed at Apsara Art Gallery recently. They did a decent enough job, but just used regular glass. Not the end of the world, but I may like to get a few more done in future and would prefer non-reflective glass if possible.
Is it available?
Non-reflective glass available...?

Doesn’t all glass reflect?

pew, pew, pew, pew!
When you put a coating on the glass with a thickness of 1/4 of the light wavelength, which coating reflects 1/2 of the light and lets 1/2 of the light go through, then the passed through light will reflect on the glass and return to the outside. Because the light reflected on the glass is 1/2 wavelength different in phase, it'll combine with the light reflected on at the coating surface, resulting in a total near zero reflection. The two reflections are of opposite phase and dampen out, so to say.YaTingPom wrote:Doesn’t all glass reflect?

Piece of cake...v12 wrote:When you put a coating on the glass with a thickness of 1/4 of the light wavelength, which coating reflects 1/2 of the light and lets 1/2 of the light go through, then the passed through light will reflect on the glass and return to the outside.
