Couple of snake i.d's
Saw these two on the road near Kampaeng Phet today.
The first one had been run over the head and was wriggling around in the road. 2nd one stiff as a board.
Any ideas?

Stop it Alexandra. Get yer dick and pussy back in yer pants.
Yes, it's two rat snakes. So what. We're all in sync now, except you. But you are very DIFFERENT sweetie.
Be nice. I had to transform to normal, hoe.

Looks like a Small-spotted coral snake. Possibly deadly neurotoxic venom but with a quick search they hardly ever bite people, have a small mouth and don't pose much danger to us. They are rather uncommon to see.

Calliophis maculiceps?
Very few snakebites can kill you in 'minutes'...20-30 minutes maybe if you were lucky enough too get bitten by a black mamba or other snake with mostly neurotoxic venom on the chest or neck, that might do it, but for an adult it would take a few hours, typically, even days with some colubrids, boomslang, vine snake.
Lots of people survive Russell's viper bites in Cambodia even with bad treatment. Cobras, kraits, another story, but kraits are shy (I've seen people catch them and the snake made no attempt to bite), and even cobras will avoid humans if possible (I haven't heard of a single bite form a King cobra here), most get bitten trying to kill them or when the snakes enter houses looking for rats/frogs.
Antivenom is not readily available, and may not even be effective. Much of it was sourced from India (cost there, $15, cost here $150/vial) and antivenom is geographically relevant, in other words antivenom produced for cobras in India may not be 100% effective against cobras in Cambodia, especially if a different species to that which the antivenom was sourced.
Make sure the gap between your door and the floor is minimal if you live outside the city.

It doesn’t seem too common to see snakes here - certainly less than Australia.
