Hello everyone,
I have to move a number of containers every month, which for a number of reasons cannot travel by ship.
I need to organise the transport of these containers to Singapore port.
I would like to know if anyone knows who can I speak with regarding the possibly to pay for a flat train wagon from either Cambodia or Thailand all the way to Singapore.
Truck transport to Singapore could also be considered but I expect it to be more risky/costly.
Thank you.
Organising regular large cargo deliveries by train.
Forget about trains from Cambodia, they're not going anywhere soon. While trains in Malaysia are quite good I doubt they're compatible with the Thai rail services. So you could do a portion by train to hat yai but given the cumbersome logistics involved your best option by far is by road.

Given that, currently, there is NO cross/through border rail service between Cambodia and Thailand, what you are proposing just isn't going to happen any time soon but will happen sometime in 2019 - probably late 2019 - once all protocols and procedures for transhipment of sealed container loads are resolved.
Ditto for rail services from KH to VN because there never has been trackwork between Phnom Penh and Saigon although under the Chinese BRI this may come in a few years time. Note the word MAY.
It would help if you stated why the containers can't travel by sea. If hazardous/dangerous cargo just what is its UN Classification Code?
When I was the UNTAC Chief Contracts Officer I regularly moved containerised cargos between Singapore and Port of Sihanoukville by container barge, not container ship. But as far as I know, the barge services ceased once the twice weekly container vessel started to operate between these ports.
If your containers/contents are not acceptable for sea transport why should they be acceptable for road transport and through numerous border controls and countries?
Sounds as if you have the logistic cart before the horse in this instance.

I can already transport the containers overland to any location in Thailand, the train option from any station in Thailand onwards to Singapore seems the safest choice.
