Hi guys, any recommendations best courses from experience? Are memberships there crazy expensive and full of Chinese??
Some of the best back nines are to be had on street 136 if you have the stamina allegedly, but also filling up with Chinese allegedly.

Josh, Yes, but its bloody expensive to wack a white ball around any Golf Course in Cambo, SEA for that matter ,There is ,what is considered the best course, it's about 30 km outside south of Siam Reap, Jack Nicolas designed,, what you do is drive in(car) they will have staff pretty girls to assist you parking, and tell them you want to see the course design and can you view it. The Canadian course manager will be all smiles welcoming you You will be offered some tea and you will be driven around the course(concrete path) in a buggy by a lovely english speaking Khmer girl that will ask you if you are a Professional.,,just say Yes.,,it's a free tour and very lovely.Joshcanggu wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 4:40 pmHi guys, any recommendations best courses from experience? Green fees/per round rediclious $$...but such a beautiful course like a snooker table perfection. even has some old relics statue things from the past they dug up.
I was on a 14 handicap when I was 14, and 9 at 15,and then I gave up golf . I got my car and moto bike licence on my 15th birthday. I passed all the questions,
..and that's all I got to say about that...

I've lived in Indonesia last 9 years the courses are about 120usd for 18 holes but memberships are crazy expensive and some almost exclusively chinese. I'm not racist they are just annoying to play behind.
How many rounds did you do in 9 years Josh? welcome to K440 btw.Joshcanggu wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 7:43 pmI've lived in Indonesia last 9 years the courses are about 120usd for 18 holes but memberships are crazy expensive and some almost exclusively chinese. Im the greenkeeper here.
No sorry, I prefer go hard on the front nine and then call it a day. But golf is so damn boring I barely make it past the 1st before I nod off!

I'm guessing you also probably think cricket is a boring game...
What sport do you love the most Spigz?..apart from Bedroom Olympics,
I'm being harsh to be fair, I like all sports when playing - but only football as a spectator sport, and more recently AFL due to some Aussie influencers; any sport that is non-stop action. None of this American hand-egg, rounders for men, cricket, golf, rugby, etc. And I draw the line on 'sports' that require artistic merit as deciding factors in success - gymnastics, figure skating, etc. It's all about faster, higher, stronger.

Any advice on where to have a tipple after? (In pp) Am moving with wife and newborn next month. Been going to the KOW on and off for 13 years. 13 years ago I would have moved to sihanoukville but I think I would rather move to syria and that's when it's not flooding. Such a shame..

I am no golfer but used to host a ProAm group from Oz every year. All avid golfers and they rate the Angkor golf course as one of the best they have ever played on.
