1. It's Afrikaaners.Hanno wrote:Stupid Afrikaners!!!! No offense Vlad but gee: Giraffe in trailer = 5 meters, bridge = 4.5 meters.......
2. I'm not Afrikaans, my parents were of Danish and English descent. However, Afrikaaners are some of the most hospitable and generous people I have ever met and are extremely loyal friends.
3. Having said 2) above, like any other ethnic group, they do have a retarded section, hence this thread.
There was a low bridge at Muizenberg, near Cape Tow,n that regularly used to take off the top deck of buses, we used to call it The Cadbury's Bridge (top deck)

Hmm, my SA friends always told me that the language is Afrikaans but that the people are Afrikaners. This seems to be born out by this Wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afrikanervladimir wrote:1. It's Afrikaaners.Hanno wrote:Stupid Afrikaners!!!! Whatever evolutionary advantage the giraffe's long neck gave them (I seem to recall there was one), was lost when the long noses arrived in South Africa.
And I can't help but wondering, how many Saffas does it take blindfold a giraffe?
at least 3
1 to tie the blindfold
1 to hold the ladder
1 to make a pun or a bad joke (We used to offer people a last cigarette when we blindfolded them, but we won't in your case. It might stunt your growth.)

Not really a darwin award, because the Giraffe's life was at risk
