two little movie reviews
Mission Impossible 5 and Terminator Genesis - both deliver well.
You pretty much know what to expect of either and they're worth the time if you like that kind of thing.

Indeed - that stunt Tom Cruise pulled off on the side of the plane and his bombing around on those stunning BMW bikes almost forgives the couch jumping incident. Almost.

Two excellent TV shows to mainline:
1. Narcos - discussed on 'The Sopranos' thread. Chronicle of Pablo Escobar and the DEAs attempts to catch him.
2. Mr Robot - about an unhinged hacker and his (real or imagined) attempts to bring down the global financial system.

Wolf of Wall Street, 40 min. into it and I can see where it's going.
Bad Influence (1990), Rob Lowe and James Spader, a real sleeper classic.

Got half way through Mr Robot. Started very promisingly but got waylaid into full episodes of druggy bollocks and literally lost the plot - for me anyway.Petrol Head wrote:Two excellent TV shows to mainline:

^ Andy, I hope you didn't bail out before Swedish Patrick Bateman started hitting his straps. He is a proper bad guy.

Definitely - there is a genuinely interesting plot line that develops between Swedish Bateman and his lady Macbeth.Gin&Tonic wrote:I never made it past the second episode..are you saying I should give it another shot?Petrol Head wrote:^ Andy, I hope you didn't bail out before Swedish Patrick Bateman started hitting his straps. is anyone a Ray Donovan fan?
I just watched ep 11 of season 3. While this show is not in the league of Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, etc., it is great viewing, mostly due to the writing, Liev Schreiber and Jon Voight.
Katie Holmes has been in this season and I think she's been good too.

My favorite movies i've seen over the last 10 years were ;
No Country for Old Men
Sideways
Limitless
And pretty much anything by the Coen brothers.
I wanna see more weird movies with fcuked up characters.
