That is insanely naive. Of course the NK military can do real damage. Millions of South Koreans are in range of thousands of pieces of conventional artillery which could each fire off dozens if not hundreds of shells each before being taken out. There is a high probability they have chemical weapons. To all those who keep saying "do nothing" militarily... do nothing for how long? Wait until the North can definitely fit a nuclear warhead on a long-range missile before taking action? Never take action? Wait until the problem magically goes away on it's own? That's your plan?
