Hardly the reality of living in Broward Couty. Hilarious that you choose Ft. Lauderdale to argue your point.Jock Jock wrote:Meanwhile back in reality...
From the local papers there just today.
Fort Lauderdale police move homeless so they are hidden from view
The police department's Community Resource Unit brought in several dozen wooden pallets so the homeless and their belongings would not have be directly on the often muddy ground.
Police say the change was agreed to by the homeless, but some of those by the park said they weren't given an option.
"We don't belong in dirt like dogs," said Jamira Kennedy, 28, who has been staying at the park for about nine months and said she has been homeless most of her life.
The local govt. has a huge problem with homelessness, they buy homeless people bus tickets out of town..
They also made headlines a while back for outlawing feeding people outdoors with out a permit.
