Trump's 1st 100 days
Plenty of video of Antifa beating the bejesus out of unarmed, peaceful Trump supporters in Berkeley, 20 against one, continue pummeling with weapons while victim bleeds on the grounds, cheers all around by their supporters.
Not a fucking peep about it on the lefty mainstream media like CNN, who ranted about Charlottesville for weeks.

I like how Alexandra always says "bless".... that's got to be for trolling no? Genius.Edwardo wrote:You said Trump couldn't possibly write a book because he can't even Tweet without spelling error and exclamation marks, as if you expected that any published Trump book would also contain the same. I responded that your comment was nonsense because editors routinely correct such things. I also mentioned that it is commonplace for non-professional writers to also be assigned a co-author. There is nothing unusual or unscrupulous in that, and it doesn't remove authorship credit. We aren't talking about novels or historical tomes here. His books are semi-autobiographical and convey his personal financial and business philosophy. I didn't say they were good. Then you got your panties in a twist about "ghostwriters vs. editors". Your imagined fight, not mine.Marmite wrote:I'm sorry Edwardo. Just to clarify - have we agreed that Trump didn't write his books, and that your attempts to conflate editors with ghostwriters was nonsense?
You are not remotely as interesting, relevant or intelligent as you desperately try to convey yourself to be here. This forum has one pompous and delusional Alexandra persona and doesn't need another one, nor does it need another dull, clueless, and predictable wanna-be like andyinasia, and they still both run circles around you.
Indeed. This thread is about the Trump presidency. You derailed it, not me.Marmite wrote:We seem to be getting sidetracked.
Trump has the emotional intelligence of a bulimic 15 year old girl, scary.
I think Trump must be loving all these hurricanes. The more damage caused, the better for him. Even CNN has a hard time continually bashing Trump when there are massive natural disasters to cover. They haven't even had a chance to call for his immediate impeachment this whole week.

Looks like US Health and Human Services chief Tom Price might be the next to be fired from the Trump Administration for taking a buttload of expensive, private jet flights when much cheaper commercial flights were easily available. Price always portrayed himself as a average Joe frugal taxpayer and vocally railed against high-level Democrats taking expensive flights during Obama's terms. He will now reportedly (reluctantly) reimburse the US government some $50,000, while the actual flights costs in excess of $1,000,000. Price should have know better than to make Trump look bad. Only Trump is allowed to make Trump look bad.

The White House has been filled with Wall st bankers and military generals.
It was Steve Bannon vs the Wall st guys and Bannon had to go.
I personally thought he was abit of a conspiracy theorist anyway so no worries there.
Healthcare cuts got blown out, tax reform/cuts for the wealthy now in focus with doubts over how they are gonna pay for them. Bond yields take off.
As tensions in Korea have been escalating..
Sep 18, 2017 - The Senate passed a roughly $700 billion National Defense ... defense policy bill, backing Trump call for steep increase in military spending.
Is like an enormous Ponzi scheme innit.

The US Social Security program is an absolute and blatant Ponzi scheme. New entrants into the workforce are forced to pay for those already retired, many of whom will take out many times more $$$ than they ever paid into the system via payroll taxes during their working years. But the joke is on those young folks, who will never see one dime of any social security money when they retire, because the system is already paying out more than it takes in, and that deficit is about to explode with the baby-boom generation starting to hit retirement age. Untold billions of dollars (maybe trillions?) from the program account were "borrowed" from the federal government to pay off other things and replaced by IOUs. Those IOUs are a joke. There is no money to repay the system, and there never will be.spitthedog wrote:Is like an enormous Ponzi scheme innit.

I worry that I won't see any SSI in 30 years. Out of Federal tax, state tax, Medicare (government Healthcare for elderly) and Social Security tax, the SS tax is the highest amount taken. Be a shame if we never got it back.Edwardo wrote:The US Social Security program is an absolute and blatant Ponzi scheme. Anyone who doesn't like Capitalism is a pathetic loser. God bless the USA and no place else.
Sounds like Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is next to be fired on this 4 year long episode of The Apprentice, reportedly for calling Trump a moron. There are going to be quite a few tell-all books emerging from former insiders dishing dirt on the chaos that is this administration.

It's only the 1st year.
Washington had to fire many generals until he got his man.
He's trying to change the whole rigged system, and they're fighting to their last breath.
The system is corrupt, it needs an independent "insider" to shake things up and bring common sense back to America.
I hope you understand anyone's first year is rough, especially if:
1. Not a lawyer, and
2. Not a career politician.
Two reasons why I give him a year to sort things out.

I think we may need to start a thread for funny/stupid things that Trump or other politicians say or do.
Probably doesn’t fit well here.
Here Trump claims he invented the word ‘fake’
I can only find it on Twitter, can’t see any other short clip online.

The guy has the slimmest of majorities in the Senate, and now Trump is getting into Twitter insult wars with one of his former Republican supporters. Anyone who was holding out hope that there was some method to his madness can give up that delusion. He is openly shooting down his own administration's chances of getting any agenda passed a whole year before his supporters get stomped in the mid-term congressional elections. He is making himself a lame duck already.

Uh-oh. It's over for Trump now. It seems he has lost the support of washed-up Detroit cracker rapper Eminem and the whole "hip-hop community". How will Trump ever recover from such a startling revelation and loss of political face? That was surely his voting base.

Very interesting comments from former Trump advisor Steve Bannon saying that impeachment was not as likely as Trump being removed by a stipulation in the 25th Amendment, which I imagine most people don't know much about. It may just be sour grapes from a fired Bannon, but as Trump keeps hammering Republicans with insults and is losing whatever weak base of support he had, this strikes me as a genuine possibility. He will reach a tipping point, when even his own appointed Cabinet will have no choice but turn on him. Trump already turned on his hapless Attorney General, and then the "my IQ is bigger than his" spat with Sec. of State Rex Tillerson. Although VP Pence would probably be loyal 'til the end. Still, I'd bet some money on this outcome.
A 30% chance of finishing his term. Good lord. Poor sap.
..and Eminem hates him too.

https://www.aol.com/article/news/2017/1 ... /23240532/Steve Bannon reportedly thinks Trump only has a 30% chance of finishing his term
Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon reportedly has told people he thinks President Donald Trump has just a 30% chance of completing his four-year term.
The detail came in an explosive report from Vanity Fair's Gabriel Sherman on Wednesday that cited several sources close to the president.
According to two of the sources, Bannon warned Trump several months ago about the possibility of getting removed from office via the 25th Amendment, prompting Trump to ask, "What's that?"
A stipulation of the 25th Amendment allows the vice president and a majority of the Cabinet — that is, 13 of 24 Cabinet members — to vote the president out of office. Bannon reportedly considered it a more likely scenario than Trump's impeachment.
The Cabinet includes the Vice President and the heads of 15 executive departments — the Secretaries of Agriculture, Commerce, Defense, Education, Energy, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, Labor, State, Transportation, Treasury, and Veterans Affairs, as well as the Attorney General.
